I'm a truck driver. I've driven and been as far as you can throw a rock into Mexico and on the other end, throw a rock into the northern Atlantic. The stretch between Iowa and Lafayette on 10 pretty much shows how dumb/stupid people are. In the right lane, you have people driving 53,54,55(several) in a 70 and everyone has to slow down and cant pass them cause you have this next scenerio. In the left lane, you have people driving 68 in a 70 causing a large chain of vehicles lined up 30 deep in left lane trying to go. I've been to Houston with 4.5 million people driving. They move it. Same with DFW(7 million), same with Atlanta. I10 from Iowa to Lafayette fron 2pm till 7pm is the worst. The drop off in normal intelligence is enormous. Sorry if I've offended you. Don't care. I'm done. I feel better.

Geaux Tigers.

Why do 18 wheelers drive on I-12 like they are practicing for talladega? Just stay in the right lane good God.

its a totally different situation. Baton Rouge is loaded with traffic leaving(evening) or entering(morning) BR on 12. Where i said is just straight up people who have no driving sense at all.

Truck drivers shouldn’t be able to leave the right lane on any interstate

Usually a Texas license plate in the left lane screwing things up.

I havent driven as far or as much as you, but I've driven a furr piece.

My opinion is LA drivers are among the worst, if not the worst in the entire country.

I'd value your opinion on the matter.

im some states we aren't allowed to be in left lane at all and others we only can be in left lane to pass. Any kind of driver just cruising the left lane should be Ticketed.

Anytime that I see a Texas plate on a car on the interstate they are usually hauling arse around 90 mph.

i beg to differ. I drive all over Texas alot and they drive their asses off. They don't frick around. I'm serious, they don't. The speed limits overall are much faster. 75mph on most big hwys and on some tolls it's 85. They moment I come into Louisiana it's like a glaring majority are maw maw drivers. Dont get me started with people on ramping to an interstate in Louisiana. They enter like there getting onto a neighborhood street.

I drive BR to Lake Charles at least twice a week and you are 100% correct on this. LA drivers are just as bad but Texans are always leading the pack.

If we are coming home from the beach or the smokies, etc, it’s like you enter another planet when you get into La. It’s great to be coming home and being on a high from vacation and then get to run the gauntlet from Slidell to Nola. LOL.
I’ve gotten to where I almost always fly when I have to go to Houston because it’s a shitshow from Baton Rouge thru Orange Texas.
