I'm not even married for the first time, but at the age of 22 I told myself I would only do it once. If that goes south, marriage isn't for me. I see too many people get married multiple times and I find it incredibly sad.

Same here. It's surprising how recklessly some people treat the whole thing. For a man it's literally the most important decision of your life.

Deciding whether or not you want to become a parent actually is the most important decision anyone can make as an adult. More lives are ruined when this choice is made recklessly imo.

I think the reason why I'm no longer married would greatly influence me wanting to marry again.


Did my husband die? Then maybe later on I would want to marry again to have a companion to spend the rest of my life with.

Did I go through a horrible divorce? Then maybe I wouldn't want to marry again.

Not married but in a LTR. Don't want to or plan to split up, but if I did I would stay single.
