I climbed the bow line onto the New Jersey in Bremerton around 1993 for some pics.
It was decommed with 100s of other ships and no guards.

Truthfully, there really is no answer for the ADCAP properly positioned and exploded right under a ship, but in an invasion, those big 16" guns can deliver a lot of hurt. In the open sea, these days, I'm not as sure, Not really familiar with any Russian or Chinese armamaments
