See that's an opinion I can respect because it's based on logic and cleaning up our house before we invite the neighbors in. It's that forums arguments that reminds me of what my grandfather would tell me about nazi Germany's views while he was in the SS that worries me.

1 in 6 children in american don't know where their next meal will come from but we are going to pay possible terrorists to come over. makes me sick

But again if they had their way in that forum there'd be no entitlements to feed those kids.
I had no idea it was that high though, do public schools still offer free breakfast and lunch with a sacked meal to take home?

Yes. but how many families on food stamps sell them to buy drugs and the kids go hungry? i bet its more than we think.

I've thought about that a lot actually one of my sons friends is very poor but one of those prodigal kids so he gets free tuition and his father brought up that when he first went to sign up for government assistance that people asked him walking out if he wanted to sell his benefits for cash. He's a single father and only has one hand so I believe he deserves the help he gets he's really stand up people just unfortunately very poorly educated
I think they should have harsh penalties for it or require photo identification to use the card they give you and if a store is caught breaking that law they be shut down and all goods donated to a food pantry

Unfortunately, this is the parents fault. The government, charities, etc provide ways for people to get food. They are not going hungry because there is a lack of resources, they are going hungry because they have shitty parents.
