Man there are so many companies and agencies that do that, that there no way to even get in to that business and make a profit.

Maybe you could help your fellow man and tell them what you do

Or are you afraid of a little competition?

Chris,
Can you tell us what you do for work?

That is not an answer. It costs me an average of $80K to recruit and train an employee. If they say they don't think they can work in our work environment safely should I let them go. Or should I try to treat them like family and address their concerns which include mitigating this pandemic?

Nice catch. Wonder what would happen if I checked a few of your posts. Wow! The exact same thing.

So which is it?

Are the powers that be:

Stupid for letting for letting health experts talk them into safety measures despite the best interest of the economy?

Weak for letting the state governors independently decide what to do with their states?

Foolish for believing the epidemiologists?

Lying about the potential of danger for vulnerable groups?

Who’s in charge here and who is at fault? Who are we supposed to be mad at?

I'm not sure what this has to do with you favoring shutting down other businesses. Sounds like an internal thing you should resolve. You at least have options unlike those forced to close.

I am interested in your opinion. Your answer may have been better than mine for all I know.

You're not supposed to be mad at anyone. You're just supposed to recognize that this dude is awesome and the rest of us suck

There’s just so much incongruency with everyone’s takes on this board. It’s difficult to stomach.

Like people mad at Dr. Fauci. But not mad at the people who employ him and let him speak. Those two things are incongruent.

He either knows what he’s talking about, or they should be mad at the person letting the person who doesn’t know what he’s talking about talk on national television all the time. Being mad at dr Fauci is ridiculous.

I am not sure

Look nobody is sure. That's my point. If you are not sure you exercise prudence and caution. That is what kept me and my fellow soldiers from getting hurt or worse in Afghanistan. It is good advice.

A lot of people rip on President Trump for his initial handling of this. What was he supposed to do with so many unknowns? He could have adopted more draconian measures but he waited until he got more predictive data before determining his course of action. And that was the right thing to do.

These are hard decisions and too often people only want to consider only their point of view. I stay up late wondering if I should have done things differently, even if I think what I did was for the best.

One day he's a hero and the next day he's an enemy and part of the deep state.

Right. Trump could can him at any time. The optics would be bad but it's not like he's the only person in the world that's qualified to do that job.

People have their viewpoints. Which is fine. But in the past people would at least apply critical thinking skills to them. Now people just claim to be right by fiat. To even dare disagree with them means you are an enemy. That is just fear. If your argument has merit and worth in the end that will be shown.
