Is it on your stomach side or back side?

Remember that acid you hit back in '01? It's saying hello.

How long ago did it start?

Does anything provoke it? What makes it better?

How would you describe the pain?

Does it radiate anywhere besides down?

On a scale of 1 - 10 where 10 is the worst pain you’ve ever felt what is it?

How has it changed and what is the quality since it started?

Kidney stone.

Change in protein/too much protein may have caused this.

Drink tons of water, electrolytes and cut down on the protein.

Kidney stones, ruptured/lacerated spleen, appendicitis, gallbladder issue, all things I would go see a real doctor for as 3/4 could possibly kill you.

He’d probably be dead if it was his spleen, unless the the bleed is still inside and hasn’t ruptured out yet.

My sister (underage, no pics) had to have her gallbladder removed because it was causing sever gut pain. I wouldn't rule it out just because it's on the other side. I do think it's less likely though.

I had a similar experience years ago. I was probably 23 and woke up thinking it was gas. Then I found myself on the floor of the bathroom in my apartment. Thought I was gonna die, but it turned out to just be kidney stones. You'll live.

+1 on the gas possibility. Can be really sharp pain especially considering the change in diet

Same thing happened to me when I was 30. Drive to ER, thinking it’s a heart attack. (Dumb, I know.). Pull into parking lot at hospital and pain disappears. Never happened again.

It is all because you were wrong in the Texas church massacre thread. I hope you are in pain again tonight.

Not that I hold a grudge.
