They might care when they get turned into a speedbump.
I would never ride a bike or even a motorcycle on the road. Way too many distracted or just bad drivers. I saw a guy on a bike get run over by an old lady in a camry a few years ago. Dude did not survive. Crushed flat. That helmet didnt do anything when a tire ran over his head.
It was one of the worst things I have ever seen.

Cyclists dont bother me too much, especially if they at least attempt to move over and let cars pass. But my argument is the government did not build thousands of miles of roadway for people to cycle, they built it for vehicles. Cyclists have every right to use the roads but dont hold up the automobiles.
