Yeah years ago I was working at the old Murphy oil building i watched a New Orleans city tow truck bust the radiator in a brand new avalanche.
I guess they hooked under a bad spot and pulled it into the street and I just saw liquid all over the street they nicely backed it on to the side of the street and left.
I went down and left a note and my phone #
The building had cameras.
The driver called me I told him what I saw gave him a description of the driver. I told him the building had cameras. I dont know what happened but I hope the driver was fired.

Some need the T-case in Neutral while the transmission remains in gear.
Some don't have T-cases.

I know, I know. You take out the driveshaft because the vehicle gonna need to be running so the engine coolant can cool off the drive train

I'm not sure why people think that a drivetrain spinning for a few miles to a lot will burn them up.

They are made to spin as we go down the highway.

Just put the vehicle in neutral.

Christ, where do I begin with this mess of ignorance.

Towing an all time all wheel drive vehicle with 2 tires spinning and 2 tires not spinning WILL CAUSE MAJOR CATASTROPHIC DRIVETRAIN DAMAGE.

Towing a rear wheel drive vehicle with the transmission in neutral, engine not running WILL 100% CAUSE TRANSMISSION FAILURE due to lack of lube. The transmission is only lubed when the input shaft is turning, not the output shaft.

What vehicle uses coolant to “cool the drivetrain”?

You do realize in most passenger vehicles, transmission fluid is not any fluid that is used in an engine? Some government and heavy machinery do use the same fluids, but I am not aware of any passenger vehicles.

Do you put canola or olive oil in your engine when you change the oil?

When I read your post, I LOL’d and thought of the video
If the young black girl in Walmart parking lot pouring cooking oil on her engine, talking about “I don’t need no man”.

You took me serious ???

I still have some left over blinker fluid if you need it.

I got towed back when the rum house was in br and the bank next door got mad that people were parking in their lot to visit the rum house. The owner wrote me a check to cover the expense of my tow. Literally the nicest thing he could have done.

I’ve had a couple bad experiences with tow companies and they can all go fly a kite.
