re: I saw a guy get stabbed yesterday.

Years ago, early 90's, I worked at a small grocery store in the sticks. On a Saturday or SUnday afternoon, I guy came rushing in asking to use the phone, it was an emergency. We let him use the phone and he called 911. He said he was at a bonfire and someone got hit with an ax. The cops told him to wait there until they got there but he ran out the store. Later the cops came and took our statement about the guy that came in to call the cops.

I don't know what happened other than the guy died. It was a murder investigation and we were told we may get called to court. We never did.

Not really a cool story, but it happened.

Don't know what's worse: People seeing acts of violence and recording it to their phones, or people seeing acts of violence an posting it on tigerdroppings.

I was coming out of the blind tiger in Shreveport and a guy cam up to us asking where the nearest hospital was. We pointed towards the charity hospital. When he turned around we noticed his massive head wound. We asked him what happened and he said he was hit in the head with an ax. We called for an Amber lamps.
