the entire i35 stretch in middle texas is one of the more miserable situations I can think of passing by daily

hundreds of miles full of the same bland basic shite at every exit. absolutely awful

No fricking way

Actual data would confirm that. And it's not even close.

I’m gonna go move somewhere that people don’t want me, then whine when it doesn’t work out.

Remember guys, the only thing that Texas has to offer is downtown lifestyle, BBQ, football, live music, nice houses, professional opportunity. Is that really worth trading for San Fran's weather?

And "public spaces!" And people selling homes... man, their word is their bond! You don't even need a home inspector!

He’s a huge pussy. Did the dumb arse not investigate the city before moving? The 3 worst things about Austin are allergies, the heat, and the ridiculous traffic. He could’ve gotten that info with a simple Google search. The rudest people I’ve met in Austin came from California. Austin has some of the most beautiful public green spaces of any large city I’ve ever been to. I hope he keeps any more of his CA buddies from moving to Texas.

Bay area is not the same as San Diego or even LA. Bay area weather is awful, how do I know? I lived there for a few years.

With the exodus to Texas I bet this is article is sponsored by the State of California.

I live in that stretch. Our 35 presence is pathetic to passer throughs, but I’m learning that it was done purposely to keep our southern immigrants from moving here.

I’m debating putting up Trump signs all around exit 300 and the Buckees so Austinites will continue up to Waco.

What? Maybe in the city, but the rest of the Bay Area has ideal weather.

I moved to DFW from Arizona and I really miss the public lands and weather. I didn't think I would, but it's starting to be a more than just a minor annoyance. Public lands are pretty great.

The lack of nature and public lands is definitely the biggest flaw of Texas. It’s hard to live without once you taste the public lands out West
