This is basically for the rich folks that got in right when they were able to start shorting it. Magically there is a correction in less than 2 weeks from being able to do it. Rich people getting richer on the backs of the plebes.

this sequence of events was very predictable.

the dumb money is getting shaken out right now. its a good and bad thing imo.

dont need someone that just got wrecked running to their powerful authority friends

Coinbase went down for 2 hours today.

Damn it's at 12K right now? At least it's at 18k today. I invested early today when it was 9K and it's already at 14K today.

In response to the “can I shop at target with it” arguments. There will be a time in the near future thanks to the combination of ethereum and omisego where you will be able to walk into a store, pay with what every currency you choose, and it will immediately be converted into whatever currency the retailer chooses. Or you can go to an atm and cash out any of these coins immediately for cash.

As would I. Jesus Christ.

If I was "dumb" enough to ride Bitcoin to $10k+, and it was never-have-to-work-again money already, I think I'd take profits such that BTC represented no more than 5% of my net worth.

There is nothing wrong with laying down a couple hundred dollars or whatever you can afford on a couple of coins and just letting it ride. People that are taking out second mortgages on their homes to invest are the ones that are going full retard with it.

Care to guess what currency the retailer will choose?

yeah okay. The stores took a decade to start to adopt chip readers and those only function correctly 30% of the time usually due to store malfunction and you think there will be a viable auto crypto exchange in the near future?

i am talking about cashing in doge or some other shite coin. The plasma network will take care of it all. Crypto will be no different then the money in your bank account, which in my eyes is no different anyway, as it’s just a digital ledger until I cash it out just like my bitcoin is

That crash was over 40%. I think big money will continue to play the masses as long as they can. Buy the dips, unload and short

That's been the rule of thumb for a while with all cryptos. Hell, it's actually the reason I joined this board from following the eth thread on the money talk board.

Like any volatile investment, play it safe with the profits you make and don't bet more than you're willing to lose. At this point, many on Money Talk should be playing with just a portion of house money.
