How the hell do you break a Keurig machine?

It's probably a Kuerig 2.0, which have been plagued with problems. My girlfriend got one for Christmas, after 3 weeks the first one broke, Kuerig sent a new one at no cost. The second one broke a few weeks ago, they just shipped her the third one. They've been shite.

Get a Capresso. It heats the water to just *under* boiling - most cheap drip machines don't heat it enough.

Or as others have said you could try a French press, which is much less expensive. Heat the water to just before (but not quite) boiling. I highly recommend using distilled water in a jug, it's relatively cheap and the resulting product is the best.

ETA: Once you do it the right way you'll understand why the word "Keurig" sounds like someone vomiting.

You don't break them...they break themselves. We are on our 2nd one now after the first lasted two and a half years. Between ours and our kids, some work, some don't. They are at best a novelty but it does make coffee easier to brew when you need a cup.
Buy the way, the inventor admitted he wished he hadn't invented it. He said disposing of the K-Cups after bothers him. Of course, this was said AFTER he sold the company for a gazillion bucks !!!!!

If you read the Amazon reviews, you'd never buy one.

Our Keurig broke also. Worked great for a year used it daily and kept it clean, then one day it just wouldn't turn on. Sad day..
