You should have seen the look on my wife's and kids' faces the first time they heard it.
I returned to work not long ago and a few times people have noticed it. It's always the same thing, surprised they can hear it. One dumbass even asked me if it ever gets on my nerves.

Get some liquid Benadryl and Kaopectate and mix equal parts then rinse and hold for a full minute. You can do this 5-6 times a day. It will relieve the pain just about completely.

For the canker sore you may want to find a chewable aspirin. Sorta make a paste of it, put it on the sore and thank me later.
