I know it's your parents, but be leery of people who get angry with you about following your faith. No matter what church it is. That's not a rational response.

Thank you, it seems like I will walk this alone.

When I went to Mass, I crossed me arms at the Euchorist, I honestly felt at peace.

Protestants don’t revile Catholics because they don’t view them as heretics. That boat floats the other direction.
You’ve been on this board since 2013 and you think that’s true? How many anti-Protestant posts have been made by a Catholic? There’s the opposite at least weekly.

My beef with the Catholic church is the fact that you have to be a confirmed Catholic and have an up-to-date confession in order to receive communion. Other churches don't care who you are, they allow you to receive communion. That, and they want you to attend a year's worth of catechism classes - IN PERSON - in order to be confirmed. Like, can't I do this online?

As a non-Catholic, I honestly think this is more of a feature than a bug.

Your actions should follow your beliefs on some way….if one claims to be a practicing Catholic…then one should practice Catholicism.

Secondly, what’s the difference between you living as a catholic and actually being catholic? The Eucharist! The Eucharist is by far the single-most important thing about being catholic to me.

This

The Eucharist is the most important gift Jesus left us. It binds us to divinity. Without it, there is no hope at eternal life.
