I've had one since Friday. Got a shot yesterday and a Z-pack, and hope to be feeling better tomorrow morning

I am in the fourth quarter of a pretty good cold (10 days), and here is what I have done to help remedy my illness:
1) Don't drink except on the weekends, and then keep it light
2) Drink hot tea (when I'm done studying for the evening, I put bourbon and honey in it and it helps with a scratchy throat)
3) Cold-eeze cough drops (they have a little caffeine in them, which helps with the groggy feeling; also, they have zinc in them, which my good friend, who is a doctor, tells me is good, so there's that)
4) Claritin in the morning (self-explanatory if you have a lot of drainage/annoyingly constant runny nose)
5) Nyquil (took it once on a Friday, slept like a champion when I knew I didn't have to be up early, which is the key to Nyquil)
