Waiting for an ESI and then a fifth spinal surgery and pain was bad today.

I hate them because I feel great when taking them. I have known friends and family that went down some dark roads after getting hooked on rx pain meds and that scares me a bit. I usually try and make do with bc powders and a beer.

Seems ridiculous but the pain usually bothers me less than fear of getting hooked.

Sounds like you need a new surgeon...

I do like to have them around when the pain gets extreme. This last prescription is from after my last back surgery two years ago.

Let Walt keep the bottle and you tell him when you need one. That way you won’t get hooked.

I don't get how people take them for recreational use. All it does is make me sleepy. When I broke my ankle I took them for a few weeks before and after my surgery then stopped.

I never understood how people became addicted to pain pills. Then I had some oral surgery and prescribed a round of oxycodone (or maybe they were hydrocodone). I understand the reason for addiction after that.

I like to take a few and wash them down with a 6 pack. Then just chill and watch tv.

The few times I've been prescribed Percocet, they've made me nauseous.... I'll stick with weed.
