Lol basic economy problems.

I carry on with a beat up leather suitcase (no wheels) that takes all of 3 seconds to put in the overhead right before I slide into my seat.
Those asswipes with their hard sided wheeled carry-ons are the ones that deserve your scorn and derision.

I only fly with carry on because I’m not a moron. My bag never gets lost, and I can grab my shite off the plane and Gtfo.

If you know what you're doing, a carry-on is all you need, and a good one that fits fine in the overhead and transports easily through the terminal. There's a fine art to packing, and the ones that fly regularly know how to do it. I've spent 10 days in Europe with only a carry-on and a booksack and never wore dirty clothes.
Yeah it's all fine and dandy until you get married and discover women pack for 2-3 times the amount of days your trip is.
I fly with a backpack for weekend trips, and a carry on for week long trips.

Congrats on your first airplane ride. You're a big boy now!! Did you get to go in the cockpit before take off and talk to the Captain and get a toy?

Wait until you add kids to that

Thankfully my wife is a minimalist when it comes to travel. I can't stand going to various cities and waiting an extra 20-30 minutes each way every time we travel together. Only time I ever have more than a carry on is if the trip is over a week long.

I'll find a laundry mat before bringing a bigger bag.
I despise carrying a massive bag. If I can't fit what I need in my carry on and backpack, I don't need it.

You just don't understand. What if I'm in the mood to wear a specific outfit when I get there and I didn't pack it??! Women still want options when we travel.
ETA: If I'm going away for a week...you best believe I'm checking a bag. Not that big a deal really.
No way in hell all my shoes, clothes, makeup, curling iron and/or straightening iron, hair dryer will fit in a tiny carry on. And hotel hair dryers suck so not gonna rely on that.

Yeah those people suck but nowhere near as much as gate lice.

Yeah that's what my wife says.
I'll pack a shirt for every day of the trip plus one extra. There's my options.

You can't bring booze home in a carry-on. My souvenirs are usually some type of local beer or liquor that I share when I get home.

There are some pretty large duffels or expandable style bags for carry ons that work really well for travel vs having to bring a massive checked bag. And your personal bag can be fairly large if it fits under the seat, too.

Main reason I check a bag is so I can bring liquid items over the TSA limited amount for carry on(lotions, etc).
They don't make travel size in every product I use and they won't all fit in one ziplock bag for TSA even if they did.
You men want us women to look our best but get annoyed at the reality of that.
The reality of that is we usually require a lot more stuff than men to do that.

Right? Fun fact. Most airlines will let you check 2 kids items for free. Others are 1 for free.

Is this what you stand on while washing your clothes at a laundromat?
