Baton Rouge is too damn small a city to have that shitty of traffic. This goes double for Lake Charles but the crossed pistols on the bridge were an unexpected cool thing.
And holy shite for amount of water being released from the locks just north of New Orleans.
The roads are considerably better than I remember.
And exactly how much is the advertising budgets of the cabal of the 3-4 personal injury lawyers? They seemingly had a sign advertising their services every 5 or so miles, many times in clusters.

Of all the places I’ve lived, trying to cross the bridge in Baton Rouge is the biggest cluster I’ve ever seen. It’s been like that for years and you really can’t blame population growth or economy boosts. Just a shithole being a shithole.

The roads being better is false. Texas roads are just getting worse and you didnt notice. This is fact. Living here now even backroads in east Texas are way worse than they were 10 years ago.

I used to think Morris Bart was bad, but the Gordon Mckernan guy is so much worse.

If you didn’t drive the portion of I-20 from east Bossier to Texas, you didn’t run the gamut of OT LA driving issues.

It's Houston on a smaller scale. It comes from a political culture so in love with "smaller government" that it completely punts on urban planning.

About 10 miles south of Lafayette on Hwy 90, Gordon McKernan apparently owns about a half mile of road, around a cluster of oil field service companies. His billboards are everywhere. People who work there must see him in their sleep.

I've seen those.
I never take 10 from laffy to NOLA. If you dont have to stop anywhere on that route why would you not take 90
