Lowball glasses = 11oz. My tumbler is 30oz. That's cutting refill trips by 2/3rds. Plus the aforementioned sweating issues.

I live a pretty minimalist lifestyle (and will continue to until I pay off my student loans ~2 years from now), but I fricking love my tumbler. Got it for Christmas and have used it nearly every day since. Used to fill up large plastic cups with tea in the morning before work, then at lunch time before heading back. The ice would never come close to making it those ~4 hours between. Plus I would have to wrap the cups up with quite a few paper towels so that I wouldn't have to worry about accidentally putting it down next to work papers.

Good point. Water bottles and canteens didn't exist before the tumbler.
