What about toll roads? Got one in the mail the other day from when we were in Florida last month. My gut tells me I can just trash it and there's nothing they can do about it.

Between my employees, and myself, we got a total of 7 toll tickets while in FL for hurricane Ian. All while the governor had the tolls “suspended due to the natural disaster” that we were assisting in cleaning up. It’s no wonder there are so many FL man posts, if I had to live there, it may would be me on one of those vids.

75% of the cars in Louisiana either have paper plates or just nothing at all anyway

I've seen some real POS vehicles driving around with temp tags and there is no way they just purchased that vehicle in the past month.

Amass a bunch of camera tickets Wait until final notice is received Go to auto notary and claim your license plate was stolen Get new license plate The boot people have no idea you're a camera ticket criminal mastermind Sleep well at night knowing you beat the system.

Or just park in surface lots or garages rather than metered street parking.

That’s how Florida has drastically cut down the number of humans working and stealing from the toll roads. All the rental cars are set up that way so no Sun Pass is needed for the tourist.

In WI they can ticket you for an obscured plate. I'd assume CO and other states are the same

Im sure they can.

When my plate is totally obscured by snow, a cop aint going to bother to pull me over for that.

Its snowy on a mountain pass, theyd have to see me blowing lines or weaving in and out of traffic to care enough to get out of their car in that.

On trucks with step bumpers the snow stays blocking the plate long after the snow storm has passed. I've heard of them pulling people for it.

No, they won't while you're driving through a snow storm. Three days later they might if you haven't cleared the snow off your bumper. I've never been popped for it but have heard of others. I sweep the snow out after a day or two.
