Can’t they just run a dump truck into the bridge from the other direction and push it back into place?

So, I don’t know if anyone saw what the GDOT plan is for the repair.

They are taking down the entire bridge this weekend and building a new one. I’d guess it will take a month, but I don’t know for sure.

Spitting thru the gap in her teef, Stacey will call the gap in the freeway an act of voter suppression.

Funny they did not try to refloat or reposition the deck like they did with the Twin spans and Pensacola Bridge after Katrina and Ivan respectively. Even if months later they would build a new span.

Crumbling it to dust and rebuilding it seems like a waste if you ask me.

The truck driver’s insurance carrier is probably going to argue that the span could have been repaired and not pay the full amount.

I can’t tell by the pics, but dump truck drivers are some of the worst drivers on earth.

This.

Drivers of all big rigs have gotten worse collectively over the past 20 years. But Dump Truck Drivers are the worst ones behind the wheel by a long shot.
