Where would we be without our daily interstate meltdowns?

Perhaps where we were going, but that’s besides the point. I loves me some interstate clusterfricks.

Lumber truck, it apparently happened around 1130PM last night. How do they not have all the wood kicked off the road and lanes cleared for traffic 6 hours later?

They need to ban interstate trucking. Rebuild the railway system and use that. Use trucks at state or local level.

Automated 18 wheelers won't get here soon enough. The qualifications for a linsens should be a lot stricter in the mean time.

Don't be mad because a computer can drive your truck better than you can.

Would spelling be one of the tests?

At some point the NHTSA is going to have to legislate cell jammers in vehicles. People can't be trusted to drive anymore.

How accidents happen every day or how they are bad enough to shut down the freeway for hours?

Impatience, weather conditions (fog), and distracted drivers for the first part. Too many big rigs and too few freeway lanes for the second part.

Have you driven on the interstate lately?

Morons driving way too fast, way too dangerous

We need to widen the damn freeway to 6 lanes and update the lighting, barriers, and alignment.

Then we need to limit trucks to the right two lanes only while we build and upgrade alternative routes to the freeway in areas like this.

I passed it at about 450 am. A lot of vehicles still had lights off and still didn't look to be running. If cars were being allowed to move it was very slowly. There was 6 or 7 miles of parked vehicles. Plenty of trucks in the left lane
