yeah, the entire area wasn't under water September 2nd 2005 when I last drove that route during a flood.

Again, I don't know which areas are flooded I'm not there. Use Waze it will route you to open roads if available. (which is the main point, but Bengal would rather be an e-tough guy than read and pay attention to what he reads)

I just saw a sign in Shreveport at entrance to I-49 that warned of 10E and 12E closures near BR due to flooding.

Good on DOTD to warn folks off before they commit to that route.
