I knew a few that did The Woodlands to Med Center. I commuted from Cypress to the Med Center for a couple years and that made me want to die.

Mont Belvieu has literally turned into a burb like Kingwood and the Woodlands where it is a commuter haven for those poor souls that have to make that drive into the H-town jungle. I bet very few exit into Baytown. If so that commute would be glorious.

that's true, but the issue with Baytown -> Beaumont is less the number of vehicles and more the construction + 18 wheelers. there are stretches through there that are straight up death gauntlets.

Not just deer season, it’s any weekday afternoon. It was recently rated the worst commute in Texas.

I guess I can't see why anyone would put up with that commute. I could get why Mont Belvieu would be a good option if you worked at ExxonMobil in Baytown because Baytown has seriously declined the last couple of decades but driving to Downtown H town or the medical district would kill my soul inside.
