I live in Mobile.

Turn left (east) out of the McDonalds parking lot and take HWY 90 (government) about 4 Miles till you get to i65.

Take I 65 north to I-110. Then take i110 until you see the exit for "Africa town/chocoran bridge". Get off at the exit and turn left.

You will go over the bridge and wind up on the causeway, where you can get back on I-10 -

You will avoid the tunnel

Better grab a snickers bar

A portion of Interstate 10 eastbound is closed near Grand Bay for an overturned tanker and a chemical leak.

And it’s not expected to re-open this afternoon.

Initial reports indicate the tanker is carrying Nitrobenzene, a highly toxic chemical that poses a breathing hazard. Five gallons of the chemical spilled next to the highway, according to Mobile Fire-Rescue spokesperson Steve Huffan.

The overturned tanker is on the eastbound side on Interstate 10 by the Grand Bay exit.
