I know of someone that did this, they adopted a kid that was already 8 or so, rotten apple so to speak, couldn't handle it

You would be considered a pos. I assume this is a troll, but I'll bite. Kids are not like a pair of shoes...you don't trade them in for something you think you would fit better. Biological or adopted...makes no difference.

I've seen it. Doesn't do the kid any favors, obviously. Do not encourage it whatsoever. Best case scenario is you adopt a child around a year old and "give it back" after a year or so. Even then, a terrible situation.
