The actual radio clip in the OP's link is extremely innocuous. He wasn't calling anybody the word just reciting a story of when Booker T and some other guys used it. There has to be more to the story, and WWE is just using this as a (very weak) excuse to do something they already wanted to do. After listening to that clip, I don't get it

Whoo Kid is one of the most entertaining and tolerant black men on the radio today. It's a shame that what was likely a fun conversation and work got heel-turned to a shoot.
Somebody just wants to save the bottom line.

Ridiculous.
If a word is acceptable for one set of people, it is acceptable for all sets of people. This knee jerk reaction by CEOs is utter bullshite.

its all about context, or it should be.

WWE hasn't existed to me for a decade.

That man was is and will always be your cash cow Vince.

Can we please do the same with StrongSafety?

Not even close to 75. More like 62/63

About 15 years ago ... we'd gone to WWE in North Charleston Colisseum ... Booker T was feuding with Stevie Ray.
My buddy had brought in a sign that said, "BOOKER T IS A BITCH"
Stevie Ray pointed to the sign and said, "That's what the frick I'm talkin' 'bout"

But there is no concept of context with these people.
If you are reading Huck Finn out loud, or quoting LBJ, or recounting a story about a clip with Booker T...it's treated by airhead SJWs and media types as if you were violently and hatefully calling all black people...well, you know what.

I get the sense WWE has wanted to cut ties with Hogan for some time now and just found a way to do so.
Hogan appearances were not a draw anymore and it was clear his Legends contract equates to him working WWE events for peanuts.

On the WWE website, he's not listed in the Hall of Fame anymore. But he is still shown in the history of the heavyweight championship.
So what are they going to do about the show Tough Enough?? They're only about half way through the season and he's a judge on every episode.

It says he is no longer listed as a Judge on Tough Enough.
Since these segments are live, it wouldn't be tough to just replace him with one of the trainers.

Just a kid by WWE standards. Anyway, ever since he came out and said his nads shrunk like raisins due to 'roid abuse, the dude comes across like some creepy circus freak or something. He makes me puke, so I'd be glad to see him go under any circumstances.
frick Hogan and his Starsky & Hutch-era soul brother routine, the dude's a joke.

Erasing Hogan from the WWE is like the NBA erasing Michael Jordan. It ain't gonna happen.
