Looks like the envirowhackos of Colorado have been stopped.

The next major drilling area will be in the Uinta Basin in NW Utah. Excellent crude oil most desired by refineries producing base oil for lubes. Production could reach 800,000 BPD in the basin. Far better than any tight shale crude

Cool picture of 10 year-old me in 1971 standing next to the Dinosaur National Monument sign in Vernal.

Oh and yeah: drill, baby, drill.

Good. The tanker trucks hauling the oil to the refineries in Salt Lake now are a pain around Park City.

He has no legacy. He wasn’t even really president. These were in charge for the last four years instead..

Surprisingly it was approved in 2021 shorty after applying for permits. Then it was blocked by environmentalists from Eagle County, Colorado.

Somewhere close to 150,000 BPD and that is a shitton of trucks. The oil has way too much paraffin wax in it to go via pipeline. It will coat pipes with 1 inch of wax in a month even cut 50% with condensate. Refineries making base oil for lubricants LOVE it.
