Back in the late 80's early 90's hung out at Bum's Tavern a lot... Loved LaPlace, dated 2 girls from there that pissed many local Laplace guys off... was a blast... But like someone said, it went to shite after Katrina..

Laplace is horrible. I can't think of one good thing about that area.

Bum's was a great hangout in the mid 80's. I graduated from ESJ in '85, been back a few times in the last 30+ years and LaPlace has definitely gone downhill.

I got arrested there one time. I got the shite kicked out of me by the guards at the jail too. The held me down and beat the frick out of me, I even had a black ear by the time they were done. I never even knew that you could get a black ear until that fateful day.

I also used to eat at a decent restaurant there off Airline, I think it was called Bulls Corner, or Bulls Run or something like that.

Truly insane parties in the 90s and the women from that area were very hot. Relics of the past now though. White flight on overdrive.

When you're sandwiched between the interstate and the river, growth is bound to be problematic.

LaPlace, all white shrimp boots and gangster rags.

You are going way back.. Bull's Corner was a popular restaurant in Laplace in the 1970s.. then, in the very early 1980s, it moved to Metairie where I believe it still operates.
