No hate. It's just hard to know if this guy is a caricature or if his life is really as pathetic as he makes it out to be.

From this thread, I'm gathering that ANY other option would be better.

Specifically Guymon?

Holy shite, I can't believe I'm seeing someone reference this town. I lived in the Texas Panhandle for half a year and used to travel around areas in Kansas and Oklahoma. Depressing and desolate as frick. Had to travel 40+ miles to Dumas for the nearest Walmart. Had a little backroom jiu-jitsu place that a few guys from Guymon would travel down to train at.

Specifically Guymon? So some said it's not the best for a young single male. What is there to do

Start a tumbleweed collection.

Just kidding, Guymon is a wonderful place to live...if you are in the federal witness protection program. No one is going to think it is worth it to go out there just to whack you. On the bright side you will have no problem with social distancing. Depending on your point of view it is either like the Texas panhandle only closer to Kansas or it is just like western Kansas only closer to Texas.

If you really want some excitement you go to Liberal, Ks to see Dorothy's house.

Don't forget their annual pancake race with the women from some town in England. Imagine running a hundred meter dash while having to flip pancakes over a frying pan while you are running. This should give you some concept of the entertainment options for the area in general.

Oklahoma is OK.

And OK is a synonym for mediocre.
