She had been transferred from Chicago to Atlanta and we had mutual friends she was couching with until her apartment was available. They had a cook out at their place and as soon as we were introduced there was a spark. Went to dinner the following Thursday, dated for a couple of months and moved in with one another....married 4 years later and have been married for 30 years this month. Two kids of our own and raised a niece who lost both her parents to cancer when she was 5. She has a 5 year old daughter of her own now and she is the sun and the moon! Best decision I ever made was going to that cook out...

We worked together for 10 years (nothing happened then), place closed down and we meet again about 2 years later and started dating. Been together for 15+ years.

Met at BridgeSide in Grand isle in 2018. Then a few weeks later in a bar in GI. Wedding is in a few weeks.

Summer term of sophomore year of college, walked into the dining hall and ran into the daughter of a man I'd worked for in high school. She introduced me to her summer school roommate. The minute I laid eyes on her I new it was over.
Went on a date that week. I convinced my friend (her roommate) to not relay messages from any other guys who might call the room for her, and she complied.
50 years later, two kids, three grandkids later, she still weighs 103 pounds and is still sleeping beside me every night unless the grandkids are at our house and they make her sleep on the couch in the living room at our camp where they build their indoor fort.
