I was lucky enough to have friends who's dad was very liberal with his beer and after the Friday night football games we'd head over to their house for some games of pool and cans of Carling's.

The dad figured he'd rather them be home safe drinking than out sneaking around and probably getting into trouble.

Try to do that now and the cops would beat down your door and charge you with contributing to the delinquency of minors for letting high school kids have a few beers

Times sure have changed, and not always for the better.
