I knew I was different at 7 yo. I didn’t put all the pieces together until I was 13 or so, which was putting a name to what I was dealing with. This was in 1988. I’m 44 now and 14 months into transition.

You don’t have to understand it, and I don’t expect you to. Just trying to live my life like everyone else.

Thread just took an interesting turn

I’ve responded in multiple threads about trans related issues in the past several months, just search my post history.

Where the F*+# is the father???? How is this ok? My sister thought it was funny to put makeup on me and my dad whooped her arse for seemed like 5 minutes! Is it just me or are single mothers more likely to have a gay son? My friend in high school never saw his dad and lived with 2 older sisters and his mom. I always thought he was gay. When my family told me it was whatever, I’ve been telling him for years.

It’s clear the mother controls the situation. These people are from New Orleans and the kid goes to Newman.

You know what I “knew” at 7 years of age?

-Understood the concept of numbers
-Knew my left from right
-Could tell time not using a digital clock
-Could repeat three numbers backward.

Seems most people these days remember having sexuality questions at such a young age. It fascinates me how so many of them deal with mental health issues when they are so much more intellectually advanced than us regular people.
