It confuses me.

Same here. I can feel my body language change due to the irritation of such slackassery. I start exaggerating the slow motion.

I often wonder if they think they are just enjoying life and taking it all in, so they pretend they’re at some scenic wonder that helps them appreciate life. There are absolutely moments like that out there, but not in a fricking store.
