It self-tighens to the wall when you secure the bolts they're connected to. They're the anchors you're looking for.

Drill hole in it and squirt expanding foam behind it?

It's obvious you have never actually done this before. Too much foam and the outlet will hang out forever. There is no way to get behind the box to cut out the hardened foam.

I get where you're coming from and agree. Most questions here aren't asked how to do it the correct way, but the cheap/easy way which will bite them in the azz in the coming years.
Don't fret, give your opinions and let it ride. I won't see the smoke from my house.

Hence the question mark. It worked OK for securing a loose drop ear elbow the idiot plumber nailed in instead of screwing in, making the shower arm wobbly and hard to adjust. I was unable to drill off the nail heads and insert screws on that shower, which I did do on the other one the moron fricked up. The excess foam of course had an escape route for that application. Anyway, that's why I thought of it. It is not a good idea for the outlet box.

ETA: On second thought, there should be plenty of room around the outlet box for the foam to expand, so you would just have to prevent the box from sticking out until the foam has set. In theory. I do not know how secure the end result would be, and I wouldn't be my own guinea pig for this.

Expanding foam, duct tape, and WD-40 are the holy trinity of home repair.
