How do you like Juneau? I mean from a year round standpoint.

It was 91 degrees today and felt like a 100 degrees. I'm not touching my fireplace until January at the earliest.

It’s September 1st. The hummingbirds have arrived. The highs should be dropping daily. Leaves have already started falling.

It’s almost time.

They can't override the Constitution. It's in the Bill of Rights.

I'm still enjoying my pool. Hopefully it stays that way well into November

If you are near the Gulf Coast there's just no clue. It might be 85 on Christmas Day. We typically don't light ours unless it's in the 30s.

Ain’t a real fire unless you put it out at the end of the night by pissing on it.

Of course not. I use lotion to keep them soft and ready to tickle the ivory at a moments notice.

I watched the show "America Asks" (or something like that) where the contestants have to answer questions by naming off items on a list where they give you the first letter.
One of the questions the other day was "All year long, I look forward to _____."

The big answer was "Summer". I can tell they didn't interview Deep South people for this particular survey.

My fireplace had a gas starter. I swapped it out for gas logs and a remote. The wife lights it 3-5 days a week year round.

Girl loves fire.

Moved into our new house today. Previous house didn’t have a fireplace. You better believe I lit one tonight in the new one.

Absolutely love it. Great quality of life, mild temps, mountains and sea, lots of wildlife, wilderness is minutes away. Got a ski area 15 minutes from downtown, People are cool..

Not my pic..

Do get ample rain and snow though, but I don't mind it

No problem. A few years ago it was picked as the best city in the 20-50k size to live in. Housing is pretty steep, my only real knock.
