There is a difference between occasionally having a few smokes and smoking everyday. Its the same principle for alcohol use as well. Also, 2nd hand smoke applies to people who are literally around it all the time, for instance the wife spouse of a smoker who smokes inside the house.

I can personally enjoy a few cigs every now and then while drinking without the risk of becoming an addicted everyday smoker. My lungs always feel fine and I never cough. I would say I smoke like maybe 3 packs worth of cigs a year though, so like 1% of what a heavy smoker would

Where did you get your medical degree from? Figured you were a doctor to be able to make these kinds of statements.

Why does that matter?

Actually, I’m in medical school now. But it doesn’t take a medical degree to know the difference between a pack a day smoker and the guy who burns one twice a month.

Because his "medical" opinion is meaningless.

That's why I asked, dumbshit.

Also the medical opinion on page 2 would beg to differ

quote:

When taking smokers and never smokers with HPV related head and neck cancers, never smokers do way better from a survival standpoint than people who have some history of “light smoking” who do better than heavy smokers.

That has to do with HPV, which is the #1 cause of head and neck cancers—something which I’m not arguing. Also, how does that study define “light smoking”.

There IS a difference between someone who smokes a pack a day and someone who smokes a few times a month.

Also, calling someone a name like dumbshit doesn’t make your argument better.

Lastly...your study literally says light smokers have better outcomes than heavy smokers...which is my argument.
