I would go to the luncheon. Your former supervisor is being absurd. Really everyone just sounds like they suck. They're all trying to force you to get involved in their bullshite. Decent people don't do that.

The ex-supervisor is no longer employed there. Going away party is for the one who's leaving. Lunch invites should be for current employees. Ex-sup is retired and needs to stay out of it and away from work-time office functions. Not her party, not her call.
