I know someone who was probably 27 before he moved out. Had a fishing camp and an offshore boat, but still lived with his parents . They were loaded and had a separate wing of the house for the master suite and spent all their time there. He had the entire upstairs to himself (which was massive). Was pretty funny for him to have 300k worth of toys while still living at home. Granted they pretty much paid for his toys too.

It depends on the situation.

A guy I know is 27 and still living with his single mother helping her to pay all of the bills. He also has some student loans that he is working to decrease as well.

There is nothing wrong with being family oriented and helping your loved ones out.

I see no practical reason for anyone to move out of their parents house until marriage

I live at home, have a job and pay my share of expenses. With my income, my options were get my own apartment or get a new car. I chose new car.

But I actually like my mom and she's pretty easy to live with. I have a bigger problem with the town I live in than I do with living at home.

Moved out at 18, back at 22 (after graduating), moved out again at 24 (took an out-of-state job), back at 26 (moved back for a better job), and then left for good at 28 when I bought my first house.

It all depends on the circumstances and financial stuff.

In my situation, parents wanted me to live with them until I was was ready to own my own place. I only had one other siblings and there were no financial issues.

But I would say anyone over the age of 30 really should be out om their own, unless they are caring for an elderly/sick/disabled parent.

It depends on the situation. I have 2 daughters that still live at home 30 & 27. I work out of town and my wife is very happy that they are still at home and she doesn't have to stay by herself all week.

I think once you have obtained a college degree, it should be time to leave home. I have one in college who is rarely home, but is able to save/invest money for himself after graduation, rather than waste it on rent and other needless expenses. He basically has 1100 sq ft. walk out of finished space in the basement to utilize including a bar/gaming area, full bath, siting area with 55' TV/surround, room, so not a bad set up.

23-25 would seem about the right age to boot them from the nest.

I use to knock off a chick that lived with her mom a while years back, she was 27 at the time. Her mom actually set it up for me unknowingly. The girl had a 2 year old biracial little girl(black) and was kind of in a funk. The kid's dad was 41 and a pos with 3 other kids. Her mom was a customer of mine and would talk to me about her when ever she came in the office. She said that she really didn't like the fact of her dating interracial, but she just wanted her to get away from him. She told me to hit her up on FB and I did. The next thing I know I was pounding the chick out on my lunch breaks . The lady was kind of naive, she never thought I was tapping it.
