But you and the race baiters arr very wrong. The race baiters have abused the word so much that normal people don’t care if some dip shite calls them a racist. I could give a frick. My actions prove that I’m not racist...they can frick offf and invent another word. In my world, people roll their eyes and laugh at the overused reference.
If it means nothing, why are you so worked up over it?

Why wouldn't successful people pull out of a dysfunctional government and create a functional one?

Successful people see right through that very premise FYI.

BR certainly seems to be pretty concerned about it

I grew up near Shreveport, it was once a functional society. People ended up leaving fir Bossier because Shreveport went to hell.

The flight from BR didn't really start in earnest until the 90s. It's mostly been the middle and working class that left for the suburbs.

What's left is mostly upper middle class and wealthy that can afford private schools and the poor. The old working class neighborhoods are mostly shite now.

This is happening all over the country. People move to functional areas and the old neighborhoods rot.

Dirt cheap interest rates also played a part as new areas experienced growth

It just amazes me that some people are so against an unincorporated area forming their own city. It happens all of the time and has happened several times in this area.

They aren't splitting off from BR because they aren't in the city to begin with. It has everything to do with redistribution of their tax dollars from the St George area to BR. Nothing more, nothing less.

Retards.

Maybe they should compete and become more responsive to the people and it wouldn't happen.

If things like St George don't happen it will just contribute to the exodus of Louisianians to other States.

It would likely slow the outflow of people from EBRP to Ascension and Livingston which would benefit BR as well.

If it fails this trend will continue. Those 2 have been the fastest growing parishes in South LA for years now.

Most of the cars with Together Baton Rouge seems to be driven by older folks who have no kids in school. It only makes sense if it affect their kids
