One thing to consider is that ready mix companies usually have a 5 yard minimum order unless you have a friend that works there who can get it waived. Of course, they don't charge that to high volume customers but usually are pretty strict on your average Joe COD paying homeowner. He might pay $550 for 5 yards of concrete but they will only need <3. Still could do it for $600 with tool rentals even if done himself.

All of that you will be looking around $6-7 sq ft which includes everything
I'm not getting anywhere close to that rate when I call around.

What kind of rates are you getting? Try to find a company that both pours concrete and does the stamping. nu-crete design does this in BR.

I'm getting quotes for both and I haven't gotten below $8.50 thus far.

How thick do you want the slab to be?
Posted on 5/24/16 at 3:36 pm to Cosmo
If you having trouble finding someone to place the slab you can call the concrete plant and ask for people who do small jobs. My buddy installs handicap ramps all across America and that's what he does when he has to have a slab poured.

No I paid to have it done. Used 4.5 yards of concrete and the guy charged me 600 to dig it, form it and finish it
