re: How much does this Maserati go for brand new (2015)?

I have a Maserati GranTurismo S and love it. The notion that they’re badly built cars is wrong and based on the older cars that were built when they were under control of Citreon. I know the ‘14 Ghiblis had some issues with sourced components but those have been upgraded..

I haven't looked. Figured a few of you might know off the top of your head.
Which implies, you don't have the time to look-up at this moment, right?
Riddle this: Which takes longer, going to the OT, creating a new thread, posting image, asking a question and then after all that keep going back to the OT to see if anyone answered your question and weed through the typical OT responses.

goggle "2015 Maserati ghibli s q4 MSRP"
Just tell us that you want everyone to know that you're looking to buy a Maserati, don't be weird.

What about that new Alfa Romeo Giulia Ti? Those have really piqued my interest. The car magazines rate them highly.
I would not buy one now, wait a couple of years. Likely to be maintenance nightmares. Car and driver had to replace the fuel pump and rear diff on their Giulia QV within 10k miles. Also they are going to depreciate like crazy, so if they are proven reliable then buy a lightly used one.

I've always wanted an Aston-Martin. I'll never get one. Even if I ever have that kind of money. I just think they're good looking vehicles. But I puckered up when I spent nearly $50K for my last truck.
You can get a 2007-2010 vintage Aston Martin V8 Vantage with fairly low miles for under $40k.
V8 Vantages are pretty reliable cars (for that sort of vehicle). Bonus a lot of the parts for them can be sourced from the Fords parts bin from that era. For example, the fuel pump is the same as the F250 Super duty.

It's one of the most beautiful POS one could own.

That'd probably end up costing you another 40k in maintaining it.

Yeah, any "exclusive" European car has the potential to brutalize you.
Most important part of buying an Aston Martin from the 2005-2012 era is to find one that was driven weekly. Ones that have been driven regularly, even with higher miles, are pretty solid. Ones that have spent any time sitting (a month or longer) are going to be a nightmare. Yearly maintenance will run you about $1,500 and every couple of years you'll need a $3k service. Nothing too crazy for a car that had a $110k sticker.
Friends of the family own a bunch of car dealerships including an Aston, Porsche, Lambo, Jag etc. They actually have good things to say about Aston maintenance, which I found surprising.

No you don't, simple as that.
Nation wide over the last 15 years Maserati has sold less than 80K cars total.

Maseratis in general and ghiblis especially are yuge pieces of shite.
I laugh when I see comments like this. Have you owned one? Have you even driven one? The build quality is amazing and I’ve put over 40k miles on my GTS with ZERO issues. Other than eating tires and fuel like crazy it’s been the most reliable exotic I’ve owned. The GranTurismo S has a 4.7 liter version of the Ferrari F430 engine, built at the Ferrari Factory in Maranello with a sound that will make the hair on the back of your neck stand up. I like it..

In 2015, Maserati were named one of the most unreliable brands in Britain along with many of their luxury counterparts.
In 2016, they came 36th out of 36 in a WarrantyDirect survey for car reliability.
They also come last in the rankings on ReliabilityIndex. They have a reliability rating of Poor and have an impressive, and not in a good way, reliability index of 697. It should be noted that the lower the reliability index, the more reliable the car. Maserati don’t even just scrape last place, their reliability index is over 100 points more than Bentley, who have a reliability index of 529.
Go for it baw.
