Some dirtbag from the Bronx once showed up to do a move for me. After the quote and everything, This clown made up some BS, ‘long walk fee’ for 150$. I was in a 5th story condo, had reserved the maintenance elevator and had street parking right next to the elevator.
After a bit of back and forth and me telling him I thought he was full of shite. I called the company, to which they said the ‘long walk fee’ was a real thing.
Bronx dude was stoked, then immediately not when I said, consider that your tip but I’d have probably given more if you weren’t such a piece of shite scam artist.

I don’t understand how some of these assclowns make it through daily life and function in society. Giving a couple guys an extra 50 or 100 for moving all the shite I didn’t want to move is no big deal to me but it matters a lot to them.
