I probably spent $1k on gifts while my SO spent closer to $4k+, but I also hosted a brunch last week that was $1k, plus I am going to "Christmas tea" next week that's easily going to be $150 for just me, plus drinks and dinner hopping around NOLA all day. The dang hotel room was $615 So not gifts specifically, but still Christmas/December spending.

Not counting our big NYE party in this. So far $1700 spent on that (counting the fireworks that will be around $1k). But well worth it. The only big event we host each year.

Approximately $2500 on gifts for 10 people. Add another $5-600 for Christmas dinner.
