The acepromazine is helping our 1 year old pup a lot. She was trembling, crying, running around to different hiding places.
We’ve given her two doses over the past 4 hours. Now she is just stoned and finds comfort quietly following the husband everywhere.

A good rule of thumb is 1 Benadryl capsule per every 20 lbs. of your dog’s weight.

ACE is great if the dog can tolerate it
Our Beagle is walking around very slowly & the Basset / Beagle mix is in a kennel with a blanket over it.
My Boxer is trembling & panting but I can’t give it to her because she gets way too out of it

1 oz every 30 minutes until he dies. Subtract 1 oz and you have your answer. Simple math

Any size can take 25mg without a problem. Larger dogs can take 50mg.

My lab is sprawled on the couch giving zero fricks. We socialized him to loud noises when he was a puppy.
