It’s like nobody knows there are once a day allergy medications like Claritin, Zyrtec, Singular, etc. I start taking 12 hour Claritin D for 60 days starting March 1. Rarely have an issue. Also, there are 2 types of histamines receptors. One is in your stomach. If like me, I have to take Zantac which has an antihistamine with the Claritin D.

Some people(like me) have severe pollen allergies in which any medicine will only put a dent in the symptoms.

The problem becomes when those just don't do it. Zyrtec and Claritin do nothing for me anymore. I use Xyzol now, and even that doesn't always help when things get really bad. Not exactly cheap either.

I have several oak trees on my property and the oak pollen is eating me up this year - sneezing, blowing my nose, etc. Thank goodness for Zyrtec.

Are you taking Zantac also? I would only take a Hista-1 med at one time and would still have issues. Could not even cut my grass without showering and going to bed feeling like shite. Then started taking in conjunction with Zantac. I cannot remember having an allergy attack sense
