No I drive a luxury car. I know that screws me over. Drove a piece of crap before it and got out of a couple of tickets no problem

Eh it wasn't the ideal situation dude. Wish that piece of trash didn't hop on the interstate w half of their car falling off. Should have slowed way down and pulled off the shoulder and waited. I dunno. It's done now.

So, I'm wondering what it takes to get a suspended license in LOuisiana.

Keep driving like you do, you'll find out.

Wife, I empathize. I struggle to not drive too fast. I have also been late on paying the consequences

No, there is not a points system in Louisiana for sober drivers who speed and roll through stop signs. Tickets are a dependable source of government income here. Yes, we should do better at leaving earlier.

Immediately admit it to the husband, and ask him nicely to pleeease pay your ticket on time.

I sped 7-12 mph over the limit with impunity on my commute until the day I got behind a speeding cop.

Not a smart thing to do.

He slowed down, pulled me over, and then politely gave me a ticket. Now I use cruise control. 5 mph over is the max

When 85 collapsed in ATL a few months back it was taking me 4 hours to drive 35 miles. One day the wife and I got over to the HOV Lane. Traffic was moving 5mph from 20/285 to 400 and speed limit is 70 so I do 75/76 etc set on cruise control. There is a one mile stretch where they drop the limit from 70 to 45. I was clocked doing 78 in a 45 and the ticket was $800.00 super speeder and I have until August 8th to pay the DMV another $200.00 to prevent my license from being suspended.

As far as how many tickets "normally" I don't know. Haven't gotten many tickets in my lifetime.

If ya keep it under 80 mph on I-12, you're holding everyone up.
