Ya but they clean up after you etc etc?

Tipping is a social contract. If you don't like to tip, stay home and cook your own food.

A guy my husband worked w said he got called out at houstons bc he didn't tip. He was mad and said the bill was $60 and "that place got enough" smh
Yes this too. Watch out for me.
I know a person w stage 4 cancer whose toddler got locked in the car and died. She was super tired and sick from chemo and feel asleep. Her husband was focused on the other children and then toddler slipped out of the house unnoticed.

I keep my car doors locked, keys up high, and house alarm set to instant all day long.
Best gym hands down is stone creek. Welcome, it's a great place to live.

For real
Wow. Did your insurance go up a lot?
Eh it wasn't the ideal situation dude. Wish that piece of trash didn't hop on the interstate w half of their car falling off. Should have slowed way down and pulled off the shoulder and waited. I dunno. It's done now.
No I drive a luxury car. I know that screws me over. Drove a piece of crap before it and got out of a couple of tickets no problem
Do you have any more kids? A wife?
I thought of that. Have you ever seen something get wrapped under someone's front tires while they are going 80? I have it's not pretty. Spun out of control at super fast speed. Scary.
I would have thought it could be changed w one ticket...:but now that I have two? ?? Does the cop who wrote the ticket have any power really? This cop from today hates me and I was prob short w him after he gave me the ticket.

I just felt like I was really trying to protect myself and my kid and get f-ed bc he had to meet his end of the month quota
St. Tammany. I have no connections and have no clue how to get tickets fixed. Was planing on going to talk to the DA about getting it reduced to non moving vio so it doesn't hit my insurance.

Cop told me I should have slowed down which I considered but was still concerned that nonetheless I'd have a spinning vehicle flying at me.

After I got the ticket I asked him why he didn't pull that car over too when they were obviously speeding and a huge hazard to the road. He just said have a good day. Hope they didn't cause an accident.
No I honestly don't text and drive or talk on the phone and drive. Obviously a shitty enough driver don't need to add to it
I can only imagine the comments I'll get but...

I'm get it...I'm a woman. I'm a bad driver. Ok

Got a ticket last year reduced to expired something non moving violation.

Last month got a ticket for doing a rolling stop in my neighborhood. Cop was hiding.

This morning I was on the interstate and the car in front of me was going about 75-80 and had their front bumper falling off and hitting the interstate. I sped up to pass and a cop got me. 88 in a 70. Looking back I would have slowed way down.

So, I'm wondering what it takes to get a suspended license in LOuisiana. I don't think we have a points system, right?

Taking this seriously and I'm going to take defensive driving.

So when someone writes a check and says, "I would like this to go toward the Tiger cage." LSU is supposed to repair the classroom floors?

Write a check to your church for missions, and I promise you will be pissed if it goes towards the sprinkler system.

People have chosen for their donation to be used to fund the habitat. Plain and simple.
There is no cut and dry requirement IMO. That all depends on a variety of factors, and it comes down to personal situations/lifestyle preference. Someone single saving 35% of their income is in a much different situation that someone with 4 kids, or someone going through hardship like cancer/health complications. Some guys want to hurry up and retire, others would be completely bored if they retired before 65. Some people love their careers and others hate it and hate working in general.

What counts as saving? Does this include education accounts for your kids, principal on a mortgage, HSA accounts? 401K matching contributions?

Just because someone is in a situation enabling them to save 40% does not put you in the loser/foolish category, meanwhile saving 5% while single with no kids is not a wise choice either.

Situations are complex with different people. You have to find the happy balance which makes you comfortable.

And don't compare yourself to your neighbors/co workers. They could be in a situation where they have a nice inheritance and can afford to buy that nice boat or timeshare, or in a situation where they have no safety net at all if they lose their job and are penny pinchers in case that happens.

Everyone financial situation is different.
I went to Orpheus last year and it was worse then. Parade was over in 15 minutes and a joke like you mentioned. I think that part of the issue is that the Northshore parades should not on the weekend heading into Mardi Gras, as the parades uptown get all of the attention and planning, and people like myself are preparing for Bacchus, Lundi Gras, etc.

However Olympia in Covington is a fun parade, held at the perfect time. I only attended once but it was a blast and a good kickoff to the parade season.

having $750 in catering delivered to my home for a party this weekend. what do i tip based off of that? am i just tipping the guy delivering?
So I don't have to sit in court until they call my name?
The claims adjuster & police officer told me I would likely get out of it w/ this resolution letter, so I would like to try.
Got in a minor wreck (my fault) & received a ticket for improper lane usage. I have a letter from my insurance company stating that damages have been taken care of for the other party.

My court day is wednesday in STP. I hhad a ticket about 10 years ago and remember it being a clusterfrick. In jefferson parish you just walk right up to the DA's office but in St. tam I remember no such thing & I grew impatient & just paid the ticket.

Anyone have any experience? Will I have to wait until they call my name to speak to the DA or can I just go up there & ask to talk to them? 33 weeks pregnant & don't want to have to sit there all day. Thanks :)
