re: How many pyramid scheme type gigs have you been approached with over the years ?

I remember when I was broke as frick in BR being hit on by Amway salespeople. The hook back then was "How would you like to be a millionaire?" followed by talk about how the company was doing business in dozens of countries yadda yadda.

The biggest reason I never fell for it was that I was pretty sure that legit international companies didn't send people randomly looking for recruits with no resume.

But someone who is desperate and broke enough would find it very appealing.
