This feels like a trap engineered by my SO...
I have a lot of shoes but I really do wear them all. Mostly flats and modest heels for work, but yeah... a lot.

No. One of the spare bedrooms is my vanity/closet room/storage for us. I do have a shoe rack that takes up half a wall though in that room.
Our closet in our bedroom is tiny so that is only my closet. Other room’s closet is his closet

I can not commiserate with other women. I love stilettos, but my accountant ways prevents me from buying multiple pairs or expensive ones.

Most of the shoes I buy are on sale. Most I’ve ever spent on a pair of shoes was $150 for some good hiking boots.
I have 2 bins full of old shoes in our garage (not part of the 50 number). I need to just go through them and toss a bunch.

I'm mostly pissed at my son's shoe closet. 2 year olds get flush with shoes from relatives and all the little shite wants to do is be barefoot.

I always donate clothes. Shoes...really just depends on the condition of the shoes. If straps are broken on them and the sole is worn out, and they are cheap shoes from Target...,not worth donating imo. Those are a toss. Same with old ratty tennis shoes.
